Engaging in therapeutic treatment is a brave moment. Prior to working together, we will be discussing your session rate and addressing any questions you have about my policies. I would like to take a moment and introduce you to some of the general session inquiries.
Initial Consultation
One of the most valuable aspects of therapeutic work is the trust that is built between therapist and client. I would like to invite you to virtually meet with me for 15-25 minutes to allow space and time for your questions, concerns, and to share some of your goals. If this feels like the best next step, feel free to schedule a complimentary consultation.
Virtual and In-Office
I am currently available to provide client care both virtually and in-office.
Telehealth - I am available for online teletherapy for California residents. I utilize a HIPPA compliant Zoom platform.

Session Frequency and Length
Therapy is most helpful when it is consistent and predictable. Clients typically meet with me for weekly sessions. Frequency of sessions primarily depends on what you are experiencing and what your goals are. During our initial consultation, considerations for session frequency and scheduling can be discussed. Individual Sessions are 50 minutes in length and Family Sessions are 60 minutes in length, unless other arrangements have been made.
Cancellations
Periodically, it is necessary to cancel scheduled sessions. I require a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice in order to cancel or reschedule an appointment without charge. If you need to reschedule with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, I will make my best efforts to accommodate your request. However, if rescheduling is not possible, you will be charged the full session fee.
Insurance
I do not contract with any insurance carriers or bill insurance companies directly. Clients are personally responsible for the payment of all fees. I will provide a monthly superbill that will include information relevant to insurance company claims. A superbill does not guarantee any type of reimbursement of services. I encourage you to verify the specifics of your insurance coverage and benefits before treatment begins.
Private Client Portal
I offer clients access to a private client portal where you can make and/or change appointments, view invoices, and download insurance superbills.
